SMS Terms & Opt-In Policy

1. Program Overview
ChurchVine, operated by ChurchVine LLC (churchvine.church), provides SMS/text messaging as part of its church management platform. Messages are sent on behalf of subscribing churches to their own congregation members who have opted in.
2. What Messages You Will Receive
When you opt in to SMS notifications through ChurchVine, you may receive:
- Event Reminders: Notifications before events you are registered for
- Check-In Confirmations: Confirmation when you or your child checks in to a service or event
- Child Safety Alerts: Security codes and pickup verification for children's ministry
- Registration Updates: Confirmations, waitlist promotions, and cancellations
- Church Announcements: Important updates from your church leadership
- Giving Receipts: Confirmation of online or text-to-give donations
3. How to Opt In
You may opt in by checking the SMS consent checkbox and providing your phone number during any of the following:
- Event or conference registration
- Member profile notification preferences
- Digital connection card (guest form) at church
- Child or attendee check-in
By providing your phone number and checking the consent box, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated SMS/MMS messages from ChurchVine LLC on behalf of your church. Consent is not required as a condition of purchase or registration.
4. How to Opt Out
You can stop receiving messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any SMS message
- Updating your notification preferences in your ChurchVine member account
- Contacting your church administrator
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages unless you opt back in.

6. Message Frequency & Costs
Message frequency varies based on your church's activity and your registered events — typically 2–10 messages per month, never more than 20. Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier. ChurchVine does not charge separately for SMS.
7. Privacy
Your phone number and SMS consent are kept confidential. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
8. No Age-Gated Content
ChurchVine SMS messages do not contain age-gated or adult content. All messages are appropriate for all ages.
